  • Unpacking the grill

    • When you receive your Ignita Journey Portable Stainless Steel Grill, start by carefully unpacking all the components. Open the box generously, as some pieces may be heavy or oddly shaped.
    • Inside you will find three side plates, a base plate for the charcoal and the actual grill on which you will cook. Make sure that all parts are in perfect condition. Keep the packaging until you confirm that everything is ok — it can be useful in case of a return or warranty.
  • Assembly steps

    • Choose a well-lit area with enough space to lay out all the pieces. Start by joining the three side plates together using the corner cutouts. Then mount the base plate, the one where the coals will sit — it's important to have it securely fastened so there are no surprises when you start grilling.
    • Once the sides are in place, place the grill on top. It should sit securely to distribute heat evenly. All connections should be tight. Follow the steps in the correct order — from the bottom up.
  • Checklist before first use

    • Check that all parts are properly assembled and that there are no loose or unstable parts. Make sure the grill is properly seated on the base plate. Look carefully to see if any foreign objects have fallen into the charcoal area.
    • Only place your grill on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials. And if it has any special features — like air vents or an ignition system — quickly read up on how they work. It's better to know in advance so you can start your first grilling session stress-free.
  • Assemble the Grill

    • Make sure that all components are attached correctly and firmly, according to the assembly guide included in the package.
    • Failure to follow the instructions may result in injury, damage to property, or loss of warranty.

  • The actual grill

    • Once the coals are ready, carefully place the grill on top. Make sure it is securely fastened and stable.
    • Let it heat up for a few minutes before you start cooking — this helps with even and efficient cooking.
  • Adding and lighting the coals

    • Place an appropriate amount of charcoal evenly on the base tray.
    • Light the coals using a safe method (e.g. special ignition cubes or a chimney lighter).
    • Wait until the coals are fully lit, red, and covered with a thin layer of ash.
  • Cooking

    • Place your food on the grill and cook it to your liking. You can adjust the airflow by gently moving the grill to control the intensity of the heat.
    • Never let children use the grill.
    • After you're done cooking, carefully remove the food and let the grill cool completely before cleaning and storing it.
