Open the box and place the pieces on the cooking surface. Start by joining the three side plates together using the corner cutouts.

Then mount the charcoal holder. Then make sure that all the parts are securely fastened.

Once the sides are in place, place the grill on top. It sits firmly to distribute the heat evenly.

Important things to remember when assembling the Ignita Journey grill

Correct alignment of the side plates

  • When joining the side boards in the corner cutouts, they should all be placed on the ground at the same time, without any side being lifted.
  • Once they are connected, gently lift them one by one, one or two at a time, but very slightly.
  • Continue with the third side, then the last, until the pieces fit snugly into the cutouts above.

Installing the charcoal holder

  • Hold with one hand under the support and one hand on top, for control and stability when inserting it.

Check the attachment before continuing.

  • After each step, make sure that all joints are in place, without play or tilt. This prevents the parts from warping.

Do not force the pieces.

  • If a piece doesn't fit, check the positioning and don't try to force it in. Forcing can scratch or deform the stainless steel.

Check the orientation of the pieces

  • Make sure that the cutouts and joints are oriented correctly before you start assembly to avoid later disassembly.

Protective cover

  • Only put the protective cover on after the grill has completely cooled down.
  • This way you avoid condensation and damage to the material due to temperature.
